Terms of service.
The agreement between you and RofiantAI for the Kiro Bot desktop app, the backend it talks to, and this site. Last updated August 23, 2026.
Using Kiro Bot
Kiro Bot is free to use. You need an account, and you are responsible for what happens under it, so keep your password to yourself. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
Do not use Kiro Bot to break the law, to attack systems you do not control, or to run workloads designed to exhaust the shared free tier for everyone else. We can suspend or delete an account that does.
The agent acts on your instructions
Kiro Bot reads and writes files, runs shell commands, and inspects Git. It does that because you asked it to, and it can be wrong: a model can misread a request, edit the wrong file, or run a command you did not intend. Every tool call is listed in Agent Activity so you can read it. Review the work before you rely on it, and keep backups of anything you cannot lose.
You are responsible for the content you send and for what the agent does under your direction, including any code it writes into your workspace.
Models and your own accounts
By default, runs use a free model that RofiantAI pays for. That tier is a courtesy — it can change, slow down, or stop.
Connecting your own Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini account means runs go through that provider under your subscription and quota, and that provider's terms apply to those requests. You pay them, not us. Disconnect at any time in Settings.
Limits
The service enforces these limits so one account cannot starve the rest. They are subject to change.
- 300 requests
- per minute, per client, across the API
- 10 requests
- per minute on expensive endpoints, such as starting an agent run
- 8 model steps
- per run, or 16 when a run is explicitly extended
- 20 tool calls
- per run, after which the run stops
Your content
Your chats, files, and skills stay yours. We store and transmit them only to run the service, as described in the privacy policy. We do not claim ownership of anything you or the agent writes.
No warranty, limited liability
Kiro Bot is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. It is early software and it will have bugs. We do not promise it will be available, correct, or free of data loss.
To the fullest extent the law allows, RofiantAI is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost data, or lost profits arising from your use of Kiro Bot. Since the service is provided free of charge, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for it.
Ending it
You can delete your account from the app at any time, which removes your data as described in the privacy policy, or deactivate it to lock sign-in without deleting anything. We can suspend an account that abuses the service or puts it at risk. You can also keep using the desktop app against your own backend — the source is public.
Changes
We will update these terms as Kiro Bot changes, and the date at the top will say when. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept it.
Questions go to the issue tracker, and the code is in the repository.
